Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Blend the above ingredients and add the following:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 rounded tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Stir in 1 pkg. chocolate chips and drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet (or I use parchment paper on the baking sheet). Bake at 325 until lightly browned.
